The Community Band is an extension project of UFCSPA in partnership with Alvo Cultural, conducted by maestro Marcelo Rabello. Started in 2013, it seeks to strengthen ties between the academic community and the community in general through instrumental music.

The project has been constituted as a space for informal learning methodology, characterized by an emphasis on creativity and autonomy. We hold a thematic concert every year in which not only the sound results of its trajectory were shown to the general public, but also the importance of the project for the community.

To participate in the classes and join the Band for free, it is necessary to get in touch with Alvô Cultural and schedule an interview.
