Rap na Rua was born in 2012 as an itinerant hip hop community festival held in several cities in RS. With the need to promote and promote hip hop music and culture in the state.
Altogether there were more than 160 shows and more than 60 editions held in squares or cultural centers, always providing opportunities for new artists, in addition to uniting several "tribes", the event grew over time and today has its audience mainly formed by young people from the periphery that identify Rap na Rua as its most original expression and an opportunity to show its talent.
